Bishop Lindsey is the Suffragan Bishop of the Diocese of the South and of the Armed Forces. He received his BA degree from the University of Oklahoma and his M Div degree from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. Ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church in 1963, he served in the Dioceses of Chicago, Oklahoma, and Georgia. He participated in the 1992 Synod which established the Episcopal Missionary Church and has been Rector of Holy Cross Church since June, 2002. He and his wife, Jeanne, have been married for 45 years and have 4 children and 12 grandchildren.
Assisting Priest
Father Bristow received his BA degree from Vanderbilt University, his MA degree from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, and his M Div degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School. He completed the Anglican Studies Program at St. Luke's Seminary, Sewanee.

Retia is a native of Dickson, Tennessee, and brings to Holy Cross her experience as Office Manager at Designer Florals and Dickson Eyecare Clinic and Radiology Secretary at Goodlark Hospital. Retia and her husband, Alan, have two sons and three grandchildren. They have lived in the Franklin area since 2004.

A native of Rochester NY, James studied organ and piano at SUNY Fredonia, Stetson University and George Peabody Teachers College. He completed a bachelor's degree in church music from Belmont in 1985 and a master's in music education in 1991. Confirmed at St. Bartholomew’s, James has served over 10 years as an Episcopal organist-choirmaster in local parishes. He freelances as a wedding musician and is a member of the American Guild of Organists.

Alan is a native of Massapequa Long Island, New York and was confirmed in Grace Episcopal Church in 1963. He later served 8 1/2 years in the U.S. Navy. Over the next 28 years, Alan has been a police officer and later, self-employed and in sales. He and his wife, Retia, married on April 10, 1971. They have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. They have lived in the Franklin area since 2004.
